ERADUR® ESD PRIMER 1

Product type

Waterborne anti-static epoxy primer intended for ESD coatings.

Application areas

Eradur ESD Coatings.

Properties

Electrically conductive primer with high conductivity.
It has good adhesion to most hard surfaces.

Application temperature

Application temp (floor temp): 15-25 °C. Use requires efficient air exchange and relative humidity: RF <80%.

Pot life

Pot life after mixing is approximately 30 min.

Curing time

8 hours for complete curing.

Mixing ratios

1 part by weight of ERADUR ESD Primer 1, Comp A (2,1 kg)
4 parts by weight of ERADUR ESD Primer 1, Comp B (8.5 kg)
Note that Eradur ESD Primer 1 should not be diluted but applied as
supplied with a rubber rake. It is necessary with
an even and accurate application of 0.12 kg per square meter.
ESD Primer 1 should be used as a basis for anti-static color sand coatings which is applied to stripped epoxy primer, ie Eradur Primer N or Eradur Plus Primer is strewn with quartz sand 0.7-1.2 mm, about 05 kg / m2.
The supply is increased on stripped primer to about 0.14 kg / m2.
Copper tape and ground connection must be made on underlying layers.
ERADUR is a two-component product, and an insufficient mixing will result in partially incomplete curing. Mix for several minutes with a machine just before the application, make sure that all material in the bottom and rim of the container is properly mixed.
Keep the exact mixing ratio between component A and B.
All materials should preferably have ambient temperature before use.
