Consists of a grooved foam. So when you walk on the floor, so-called fresh air is created between the subfloor and Softline ProVent, which then replaces the moisture from freshly laid concrete. The air exchange between the subfloor and Softline ProVent is continuous and is increased by less movement from footstep pressure on the floor. This technology is called Micropumping.
Thanks to this technology, the floor is protected from stagnant moisture and mold, without having to add extra vapor barrier. It also contributes to a more efficient concrete drying!
Softline ProVent can be laid on concrete floors with a high Rf value; max 97% RF *.
* when room environments are according to industry rules at and after installation (ventilation, humidity, temperature, etc.) and not completely tight between the floor plinth and the floor.
